Divorce Insurance

The focus on divorce insurance has lately increased due to the rise in divorce ratings in the westernized countries. Also referred to as marriage insurance, it is a guarantee that when a couple calls it quits one may come out with some money. In marriage, both parties come into the relationship with assets, if not they input in one or another. With the combined efforts of a wife and husband, results in increment of wealth which has been approximated at a rate of 16% annually. Marriage is an optimistic forward looking affair, its dreams are in the making, its outlook seems bright, not forgetting that it has been the cornerstone of success and civilized societies. Therefore a break in a marriage leaves one devastated and broke considering the efforts that are normally channeled to this area.

Divorce insurance is a liability form of insurance that the insured gets paid in the event of divorce or the marriage ends. Since marriage is not a permanent affair, this form of insurance is worth some thought. One is assured of a financial security while they get out of marriage and have a ground to stand on. This insurance policy is available in units of initial claim value which means the amount paid on the first day a benefit is available. The amount paid on the units varies and is directly proportional to the benefits received in the event of a claim. These insurances have a waiting period before a claim is filed which in some cases has been 4-5 years depending on the insurance firm terms and conditions.

Probability of divorce is relatively high due to the recent statistics therefore taking this policy is the best way to ensure your safety in monetary terms. For those who think that could apply and get divorced in order to get the benefits, one would have to wait for a long period of time, which discourages this practice. The best way to protect of protection against divorce is to know the person one is getting married to. It is not morally right to think of divorce but the unfortunate event has be-fallen many.  Despite its prudence, these insurance is the best against a painful and devastating divorce.

Conclusion
The knowledge of security and safety is the key to a peaceful and happy life and it can be achieved by having a healthy marriage. In the case of a shaky relationship in marriage it is humane to think of a way to be secure. Apart from getting assets out of the marriage and finding other sources of security, taking the policy is the best way to go. The price is quite friendly, remembering that in the event of a divorce one has a right to claim the benefits. It is advisable to get this kind of insurance since marriage is based on relationships which depend on feelings which cannot be quantified and are due to change. Divorce insurance is therefore away to go for anyone who wants to secure their future in the event of a break.
