Posted by DivorceLine in If you are married and you have kids obviously a newborn child will take over on all priorities including yourself, so if you feel that you are being ignored you must be understanding of each other and know what the priorities in life are.
The children come first as far as I am concerned and that is what a parent is all about. The caring and nurturing of a newborn and one day they grow up to be a good person. That is what we all want out of life. A good marriage, and good children.
Showing your children that you as parents love each other is also important because as that child gets older they will see how their parents were and know what needs to be done to prevent a divorce in their own lives. Hopefully I have made some good points here and good luck to any who are getting married anytime soon.
